We are seeking a Chief Executive Officer to join our team!

Vibra Specialty Hospital of Portland, located in Portland, OR, is a 65-bed Critical Care Hospital providing acute care services to patients recovering from serious illnesses or injuries. Our patients often require additional critical care services for complex conditions such as trauma, infectious diseases, wound healing, cardiovascular disease, stroke, amputation, and ventilator weaning. As a smaller, specialized hospital, we offer a fast-paced and friendly work environment where you get to know your patients and their families.

Responsibilities

Responsible for delivering quality care to patients, developing new business, supervising staff, and managing financial performance. Balances daily operations with strategic initiatives to position the hospital for long-term growth.

Required Skills :

  • Bachelor’s Degree required; equivalent academic, clinical, and operational experience may be considered.
  • Minimum three (3) years of healthcare administration/management experience, including operations, human resources, and/or finance.
  • Knowledge of federal, state, CMS, and Joint Commission regulatory requirements.
  • Proven track record of financial success and exemplary clinical care.
  • Success in recruiting, developing staff, and building relationships with the medical community.
  • Valid, active driver’s license required.
  • Ability to travel via air and ground transportation.

Additional Qualifications / Skills :

  • Master's degree in a healthcare field preferred.
  • Experience in business development and community relationship building preferred.
  • Professional image projection skills.
  • Knowledge of regulatory standards and compliance.
  • Strong organizational, prioritization, and analytical skills.
  • Ability to make independent decisions when needed.
  • Proficiency with computer and software applications relevant to the role.
  • No illegal drug or alcohol use in the workplace.
