Audio Visual Installation Technician to join our growing team!

Position Overview: As an
Audio Visual Installation Technician , you'll play a hands-on role in installing, configuring, and troubleshooting
high-end residential A/V and automation systems . This is an exciting opportunity for someone with
technical expertise, problem-solving skills, and a passion for home technology .
Key Responsibilities: - Install and integrate home entertainment and automation systems, including:
- Home theaters
- Multi-room audio and video
- Motorized shades and lighting control
- Wired and wireless network systems
- Rack assembly, cable management, and structured wiring for clean, professional installations.
- System programming and configuration (Control4, Lutron, or similar platforms).
- Test, troubleshoot, and calibrate systems for optimal performance.
- Educate and train clients on system usage and best practices.
- Maintain a clean and professional workspace in clients' homes.
- Provide technical support and system maintenance as needed.
- Work both independently and collaboratively within a skilled team.
What You Bring to the Team: - Experience with A/V installation, smart home systems, Wi-Fi and IT networking.
- CEDIA or other industry certifications are a bonus.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Basic understanding of IP networking and system integration .
- Ability to work with hand and power tools (owning tools is a plus).
- Experience with Control4, Lutron, Crestron, or similar automation platforms is a big bonus.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills .
- Ability to manage multiple projects, deadlines, and priorities .
- Must be able to lift equipment, work on ladders, and perform physical tasks as needed.
- Proficiency in the use of PC or Apple computers including programs such as MS office .
- Clean background check required (no felonies).
